Post: Manager / Assistant Manager – Software Development (1 post) Functional area: IT & Software Location/s: Visakhapatnam Qualification: Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent. Package offered: Attractive package, commensurate with experience & qualification Experience: Minimum of 6/7 years of relevant experience in Software development out of that minimum 2/3 years of experience in ABAP in SAP S/4 HANA Familiarity, knowledge, or experience with the following is an advantage. SAP FIORI development, SAP Business process, SAP Standard & Custom Reports. Competency: Analytical, result-oriented, team player, fast learner and dynamic. Our client organization is seeking to hire a skilled software developer to help with the development of our current projects. Your duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures, and also working with various departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance. To be successful in this role, you will need extensive knowledge of programming languages and the software development life cycle (SDLC). A bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree is required. Duties and Responsibilities Participate and collaborate with the end users, business User in the gathering of user requirements and specifications. Analyze technical and business requirements and translate these into basic and detailed technical design. Participate and conduct feasibility study, research and development, prototyping and proof of concept (PoC) in implementing new / existing systems, solutions and processes. Participate in the technical and project documentation such as but not limited to functional, system and technical design, requirements and specifications. Develop, customize, enhance, fix and maintain codes, applications and systems. Create test scenarios and data and conduct or participate in non-functional and functional testing (e.g., unit testing, system testing, integration testing, etc.). Provide regular and effective progress updates to the project manager / team lead / supervisor / immediate manager. Prepare training materials and provide assistance in conducting the training to users or other members of the team. Key skills: SAP FIORI development, SAP Business process, ABAP in SAP in S/4 HANA.
