Post: Associate / Assistant Manager – IT Infrastructure & Operations (1 post) Functional area: IT & Software Location/s: Visakhapatnam Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science. Package offered: Attractive package, commensurate with experience & qualification Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Operational support, with 1 year of team lead experience. Experience in Cloud AWS, network domain & infrastructure, Windows & Linux Administration. Competency: Analytical, result-oriented, team player, fast learner and dynamic. Duties and Responsibilities Provide domain expertise in Windows Server services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DC replication, DC promote & demote, Group policies etc. Apply networking switching and routing knowledge- TCP / IP, Inter VLAN static & dynamic routing. Also working knowledge of Linux / Unix Server Analyse the current state of IT infrastructure, service operation and solution within the business, so as propose and introduce modifications to meet immediate and long – term organizational needs. Design, analysis, evaluation, testing and implementation of VMware infrastructure running windows servers. Perform troubleshooting, resolution and problem analysis and monitor alerting systems and servers. Manage a team of application support engineers to optimize overall team efficiency, in ensuring smooth daily operations. Maintain and track assigned problem tickets to issue resolution and provide appropriate reporting to management and team as required. Assist in the research of tools and processes to support problem resolution and ongoing operations. Provide analysis and reports as needed detailing possible areas of improvement in key areas of support and continuity of operations. Support and administer third-party applications. Resolve problems reported by end user, Define policies and procedures related to that. Specify system requirements and design solutions. Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies. Key skills: Linux / Unix server, TCP / IP, Windows server, IT networking / switching / routing, VLAN. Immediate joiners or within 15 to 30 days are preferred. .
