JOB OPPORTUNITY – Estimation Engineer (Prepare cost estimations for projects) We have the following opening with one of our clients, an Automation drives Manufacturing Company for their Hyderabad plant. Location: Hyderabad Package offered: Attractive package. Not a constraint for the right candidate. Present package can be between 4 LPA & 6 LPA. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, related field is advantageous. • 1 – 2 years of experience in Estimation. Working experience as an Electrical Estimator, Electrical Engineer, or a similar role in Construction industry. • Preferred certification: A professional certificate in electrical training such as Association for the Advancement of Professional Cost Engineering International (AACE). Job Description: • Analyzing blueprints to determine wire lengths as well as suitable outlet placement based on electrical codes. • Determining the amount, type, and cost of materials and fixtures needed for each electrical project. • Knowing the supply cost for each individual element. • Determining the amount of labor required to complete each project. • Working in coordination with Contractors and other team members. • Maintaining electrical cost database. • Determining the potential profitability of electrical projects to assist management in making sound bidding decisions. • Performing calculations of various profitability solutions. • Negotiating with the suppliers and vendors. • Providing viable solutions to increase project profitability.
